Burns Bog

Burns Bog is the largest undeveloped urban landmass in North America. It is home to many different plants and animals, and is currently on fire. Around 4PM on Sunday someone noticed some smoke emitting from the bog. Water bombers, and helicopters as well as a very large ground crew have been working since then. As of last night it had burned 170 hectares. Because the bog is made of peat, it will take some time for the fire to be completely put out- up to 3 weeks! Right now there's been a haze over the city for almost 2 days, and it's very hard to breathe. A very light dusting of ash seems to be on everything.
