More Vanity Progress

I finished staining, varnishing, and putting the doors on the vanity on the weekend. We need to get some handles, and of course make the concrete countertop. The grinding disks seem really expensive for finishing the countertop. It says you can use them on more than one project, so hopefully they'd last for the other 2 countertops we have planned. We used a dark walnut stain, followed by 4 coats of waterlox varnish. The other challenge is the plumbing. The drain that came with the faucet we bought, doesn't work with the sink, since there's no overflow. So now we have to hunt one of those down. Then it's on to the basement kitchen cabinets. Lots of woodwork to do this summer.
