Hallway Primed

No new pics, but the hallway is finally primed. It's nice to have just white walls, after looking at wallpaper glue for over 2 years. Just a few more repairs, and it's ready for paint. We're going out to Deb's parents to get the paint, since her dad gets a 20% discount on Benjamin Moore, since he told the guy he used to work at one of the Toronto stores. The walls are going to be a colour called soft chincilla, it's a blue colour, and ceiling will be a silvery colour. I was sick on Saturday, so I didn't do any work on the house. We went to a couple appliance stores, and a high end furniture store. We're looking for a high end commercial style stove for the kitchen. The Thermadore and Wolf ones are incredibly expensive. We found this italian one that looks promising, Bertazzoni. It's around half the price of the other ones. I don't think it has all the fancy electronics, but that's probably a good thing, since the stuff is usually the first thing to go. It's going to be a while until we do the kitchen, is good to do your research early though. We still have a ways to go with the hallway, strip and paint the trim, and the doors. Then the fun part of picking out new lights. A nice one for the foyer part, and a lesser one for the back of the hall.
