Road work is just so much fun. Not only can we not park on our street and many of the side roads are closed, but now we've got no water. And of course, it only affects our house. Here's how I found out:
Seth: "Mummy, there's no water! I can't wash my hands!"
*ding-dooooonnnng*
John, a roadworker: "Hi, you have no water for a few hours. While fixing the main water line, the workers broke the connection to your house. Have a good evening! Oh, and on monday you won't have any gas as they're going to change that line."
look at all the water in that hole not coming into our house. Didn't they know i was in the middle of laundry!?!
They're fixing it now, thank goodness. I can't wait for monday.
