Yesterday we went to Jack's New and Used Building Materials looking for a basement door. There were many there ranging from sizes 30" to 36", dutch-doors, french doors, sliding glass doors, and yes, even those ugly steel ones with the "stained glass". There was an absolute beau-ti-ful new wood door- prarie style with windows on the upper two-thirds and two pannels on the bottom for a measley $700. There was a really cute door with a lion's head pull that would have been great to put in the dormer's entry (mainly to keep Ella from looking out when she's supposed to be sleeping) but unfortunately it was a tad too small. A funny little electric wall oven, and some really nice blue and pink toilets with matching lavatories... lol!
In the end we walked away with nothing but a longing for the right door and a few pics:

It looks like a fun place to look through and see if you can find any great finds. Sorry the door for you wasn't there!
